Setting goals for September

I can’t quite believe August is nearly over. This was the summer I was going to hit my target weight, finally like the way I looked and wear what ever I wanted because I’d look great in everything, of course I would, I’d be 9 stone 5. Obviously this took an unlikely turn when in a moment of madness I realised that I could wear what ever I liked anyway, dieting and exercising like a hungry, frantic sweaty mess gave me no pleasure and when I wore what I liked (and it fitted me properly) I actually looked kinda nice.

I’m now forgetting about my previous wishes and am going to set myself some new goals for September and they are the following…

Find a camel coat where the arms aren’t too long

Or any coat for that matter! It looks super cute on some people when their arms are too diddy for the coat and you can’t see there hands however, I get hand claustrophobia and need them to be free. Kicking it off with a serious one I know. But autumn is coming… and I’m going to be ready for her.

Nail my evening routine

I’m talking bath salts, deep breathing and 7 hours of sleep. I will be needing some new pajamas for this, preferably white company if someone’s buying. I feel as though women who have a good nighttime routine down have got their shit together. Anyone else get that idea? Me too.

Be brave

On Instagram and on my blog I really feel I have come along way. I open up in my writing and I am being a true version of myself (apart from hiding the mess in my house but who doesn’t…). This however doesn’t stop me from panicking about taking pictures in public because I’m worried about what people will think. I’m not famous so I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t notice me but you know when you feel like the world and it’s second cousin is watching? Then someone walks past so you not so casually pretend you were taking a picture of that white wall instead of yourself in front of it or just jump in a bush. This month I am hoping to take some outfits shots outside in public which would be a real step in the right direction for me. I would also love to film my first YouTube video but perhaps a bit of Dutch courage is needed for that one.

I’m really looking forward to September and hopefully achieving a few of my goals! Please let me know your thoughts and if you’ve got any goals set for the month ahead I’d love to hear them.

Lots of love,

K x
